2017/2018 Registration Information

Welcome to ABC Head Start. We are still accepting applications for the 2017/2018 school year. For more information, please click on the links below. Please complete your application and send your eligibility documents to the Administration Office. You can also visit the boundary map tab to see if you live within the catchment area of programming offered through ABC Head Start.

When I sat down to write, I had ABC Head Start’s motto in mind- Opening Doors For Children & Families. This sparked the question- Why a DOOR?! Further to this; why is this metaphor so commonly used to describe opportunity, and missed chances? After all, there are plenty of things that open and close in this world. (Windows, a bottle, a mouth...

Another school year is behind us. Another year of celebrating successes with children and families. Another year of learning. Another year taking us further down our journey and bringing new people in to join our journey. Every year I am so grateful to the families for opening their lives to ABC Head Start and entrusting us with their amazing little ones. It takes a leap of faith for parents to let go of their children into their first school experience, and I am always so honoured when they choose ABC Head Start to begin the journey.
