Today is my first day back at work since December 23, 2011 - that's right my first day back since LAST YEAR! It is the first day back for all staff as this is the schedule we work on (I can hear the collective groans.) We have a two week break in the winter, a week in the spring, and two months (or for our Leadership team 6 weeks) in the summer. I'm not going to lie it's pretty awesome! It adds to the beauty of the job I already love.

What is more Canadian than pond hockey??? The answer = absolutely nothing. Alright of course this is a debatable subject, there's the maple leaf, the toque, the CANADIAN goose (wait unless that goose is called something else in other parts of the world...hmmm???) But hockey is pretty darn Canadian. It is the unofficial official national sport. I bet people in other parts of the world would think you were joking if you said that hockey isn't actually the official national sport of Canada.

Friends and family members of people who work at not-for-profits must want to screen their calls.
