This website was developed as a resource for individuals and organizations wanting information about ABC Head Start Society, its services, and resources. We are committed to providing our visitors with a website that respects privacy. This site complies with the following Privacy Policy. This site collects no personally identifying information such as your name, phone number, or e-mail address about individuals except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals usually through contacting us via e-mail, through a contact form, Fee For Service or Donate page. Any personal information you provide voluntarily is protected under Alberta’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Visitor information is not disclosed to anyone except ABC Head Start Society Staff who need the information to respond to requests. 

ONLINE REGISTRATIONS

If you are registering online for our programs, ABC Head Start Society is required under the provisions of the Education Act and its regulations to collect, use and disclose personal information that is necessary to provide educational programming and ensure a safe and secure environment for children. The release of personal information is protected and governed by the privacy provisions of The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) and The Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

COOKIES 

A cookie is a file placed on your computer with your temporary internet files while you are visiting a website. We use cookies to track how visitors use our site. We do not store personal information in cookies, nor do we collect personal information from you without your knowledge as you browse this site. We do use cookies to aid in the collection of anonymous statistical information such as browser type, browser language, IP address, network, device name, traffic patterns, pages visited and time stamp. We share this information with Squarespace, our website analytics provider, to learn about site traffic and activity.
