ABC Head Start is dedicated to empowering children and families through early childhood education and support.
We focus on providing inclusive, high-quality programs for children, helping them develop socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically during their critical early years.
Through our Head Start Programs and Family Support – we ensure that every child, regardless of background or ability, has an equal opportunity to thrive. We serve families facing financial, social, and developmental challenges, offering a holistic approach that integrates early learning with health, nutrition, and family support services.
Head Start Program
Head Start is an inclusive, classroom-based early learning program designed to support children turning 3 or 4 by December 31, and runs September to June. As a private Early Childhood Services (ECS) operator, we welcome children with diverse needs, including those with significant developmental delays who qualify for Program Unit Funding (PUF).
Applications are closed for the 2024/25 program year. We will start taking new applications on Feb 10th for the 2025/26 program year.

Our support extends beyond the classroom. Our Family Engagement Team works with families to create meaningful connections and ensure they are involved in their child’s learning journey, through programs like Stay and Play groups and parent workshops.
