Strategic Directions to 2020 and Business Plan 2013-16

Our plans for the future… ABC Head Start developed the Strategic Directions to 2020 and Business Plan 2013-16 which outlined our commitment to meeting the early learning needs of Edmonton’s children and families today and tomorrow. Our Strategic Directions 2020 and Business Plan 2013-16 are based on:

  • the results we have achieved for children and families over the past five years and the lessons learned
  • a review of the trends and changes taking place in the world around us as well as developments in the early learning world and non-profit sector
  • community consultations with parents, partners and stakeholders, our staff and Board of Directors.

Our new Strategic Directions to 2020 and Business Plan 2013-16 is available in the link below along with summaries of our program results, environmental scanning, and community consultations. We are currently developing the 2017-20 Business Plan.

We thank all families, partners, and funders for your assistance in setting our new strategic directions and all your support. As our changing world brings exciting changes into our classroom, we look forward to working with everyone to continue promoting strong children, families and communities.
